How the Baiden Mitten Made Its Comeback

Fast forward to the early 21st century. A young woman named Shay emigrated from a small Turkish village to the United States, bringing with her a mitt she assumed everyone used. It was manufactured by one of her relatives in the small village she originated from. Years later, when her mitt wore out, Shay tried replacing it with store-bought versions, only to find none could deliver the same results. She found that without her special mitt, her dry skin started making appearance as well as starting to have weird break outs and some discolourations.

Frustrated, she called her mother, named Baide, back in Turkey, who revealed the secret: Shay’s village had been the primary supplier of premium mitts to the Sultan’s harem for generations. Even now, the factory continued to produce these special mitts for locals once a year, preserving their heritage and unmatched quality. The difference from the standard mitts available everywhere was the chemical-free way the wood pulp was processed and the unique weave, which ensured deep skin massage and releasing of impurities.

Shay asked her mother to send her a bundle of these premium mitts. After sharing them with friends who were amazed at how the mitt transformed their skin, she knew she had stumbled upon something extraordinary. This sparked the creation of Baiden Natural Skincare ( named in honour of her mother), introducing the world to an exfoliation tool  unlike any other.

Enter Victoria: The Australian Connection

Shay’s mitt soon found its way to Victoria Winnard, an Australian spray tan technician searching for the perfect pre-tan exfoliator. When she tried the Baiden Mitten as a pre-tan exfoliator, she was floored. Her clients’ tans lasted twice as long, and more importantly, they faded evenly—no more dark elbows or patchy knees! 

Her clients raved about the mitt’s ability to deliver a glowing, flawless tan that wore out like a real one. They also reported that they no longer had ingown hair, few reported that helping with acne, their rosecea problem and even loose skin. Victoria saw its potential, especially after experiencing a huge change herself, which dramatically changed her lifestyle, as she described below:
